Karwar the nearest jetty from Devbagh in itself is a tourist destination in northern Karnataka. Karwar is famous for the Tagore beach at the confluence of the Kali river and the Arabian sea, is a thin strip of white sand beach just ideal for a walk. About 6 kms from Karwar town across the Kali river is the Sadashivgad fort built on a small hill. There is an ancient durga temple near the Sadashivgad fort. The Karwar port earlier known as Baithkol is also worth a visit.
