One needs to take the deviation at Oordagere on the Bangalore-Tumkur Road to reach Nandi Hills. Fastest and most convenient way to reach Nandi Hills is by own transport.

Nandi Hills is approximately 60 kms from Bangalore. There is a motorable road to the top of the hill and can be reached in about an hour by own transport however wil take about three hours by public transport

How to Reach Nandi Hills

Train is not an ideal mode of transport between Bangalore and Nandi Hills. Traveling by own transport is the best option however if you have to use public transport you may take the bus. There are many buses plying directly to Nandi hills from Majestic and KBS.

In the morning and evening there are direct buses. The KSRTC bus to the top leaves at 8:30AM. Returning direct buses from the Hills to Bangalore leave at 2, 4 and 5pm.
